First off, you are not the only one who wants to become a better shooter. Therefore, you must understand that the only thing that is going to separate you from your teammates and friends is consistency. Being consistent with form shooting, and constant repetitions will guarantee you the best results. Below I will list four key ways that you can work at becoming a better shooter.

Balance
Being on balance, when you shoot jumpers is very important, especially at a young age. Creating good habits as a middle school player, will only benefit fit you in the future. A big issue today, that young athletes struggle with is trying to be like the N.B.A stars that shoot off- balance fading away three pointers.

Focus
Focusing on the back off the rim when you are shooting is essential. Think about it this way, if you are shooting with no target, then the possibility that you will miss is greater than if you have a focus.

Following Through

Now a days, when young athletes shoot jumpers, they think that they are Stephen Curry. These kids shoot the ball, then turn around as if they know its going in. Although, that is good confidence, it will not get you on a High-School, or college basketball team. So Follow through, when you shoot that jumper. following through also shows a sign of confidence, when you follow through, it shows the crowd that you know its going in. So I ask you, to be different than those other kids, be fundamental, and disciplined.

Confidence

None of the three words in bold mentioned above will mean anything, if you do not have confidence! Confidence is something that separates shooters from all other players on the court. The shooters know that the coaches trust them to shoot the ball, because they trust themselves!  Thanks for reading, I hope that I said something that you can take home with you. Always remember, that You Are Chosen!!!
